At the venue next to field 1 we will build Tournament Plaza with a marquee, EYUC head quarters, a merchandize tent, a medical tent and a cooking tent with food distribution. In the marquee and outside on the terrace we will setup lots of tables, benches and chairs. There players and coaches can eat the food offered by our catering. Admins can send an email to email@example.com to state which food options their players want to use. Teams can opt for combinations of breakfast, lunch and dinner, or nothing. Teams can also choose to eat only several meals during the week, which have to be chosen at forehand.
EYUC 2017 has recruited the Peter Pan company, well-known for its partnership with Windmill, to make its food. Peter Pan is an ex-vegetarian catering company that nowadays prepares sustainable food that uses a lot of biological products and tries to avoid waste as much as they can. Most of their food is still vegetarian, although not all of it.
To protect the environment and reduce plastic waste, players will have to bring their own cutlery !
In the marquee volunteers will setup a breakfast buffet every morning from 07.00h to 10.00h. That breakfast will consist of bread, butter, cheese, normal meat products, marmelade, chocolate paste, peanut butter, 1 piece of fruit, cereals, yoghurt, milk, juices, coffee and tea. Price is 4 euro per day.
Volunteers will distribute lunch at the food centre between 12.00h and 15.00h. Players will need to present their own cutlery, also for soup ! Lunch will consist of bread with sandwich filling, a daily soup, a daily salad pasta and fruits. Players will be able to come back for a second round. Afterwards players will be able to wash their cutlery. Price is 9 euro per day.
Volunteers will distribute dinner at the food centre between 17.00h and 20.00h. Players will need to present their own cutlery. Dinner will consist of rice / pasta / couscous with daily a different topping and a vegetable salad and bread on the side. Twice dinner won’t be vegetarian, but then there will also be a vegetarian option. Players will be able to come back for a second round. Afterwards players will be able to wash their cutlery. Because a lot of players will use this option, dinner price is only 8 euro per day.
Saturday - rice, mexican chili of vegetables and soya meat, mixed green salad with tomatoes, corn and pompon seeds
Sunday - couscous, tagine of vegetables and peas, salad of cucumber and yoghurt, bread on the side

Thursday - rice, curry with peas, courgette and carrot, tomato chutney, salad of cucumber and yoghurt
